This Digipak version comes with a beautiful 16 page booklet that includes all the lyrics and an illustration for each track.

No.2 is City Weezle's lastest offering after a long Haitus
taken due to disbanding in 2010.

It's the fruit of years of work,
The album was written and recorded in various beautiful
and precarious places from the backwaters of Ireland to the metropoles of France
and Japan over a 4 year period.

    The Album is Entitled "No.2"
to understand the meaning of the title one only has to refence peepee as No.1
Yet it's also their second full length LP to date.

The album offers 8 tracks and can be thought of as a Cassette or
Vynil having 2 different sides with 4 tracks on each.

The First side can be considered the European side as it doesn't include the bands usual swing rock grooves and the tracks
have different European themes and sounds.

The Second side can be considered the American side as the tracks have a more of an American sound from a melvinsy tune to a bluesy tune to a twisted beach boys tune to a Swingy tune.

This album is a statement that City Weezle is a band capable of evolving and exploring different sounds as they look forward to
Getting back on track and hitting the stage again with a great live show and coming back as soon as possible with another LP
    of new and exciting material.

One is advised to read the lyrics as they add to the experience but it's not neccessary to understand the Funny depths of this music.

The goal of this Album is to keep you entertained with a fun, sharing, abundant and giving energy.
Balls out! caution to the wind! Let City Weezle Rock you!
    Enjoy No.2! (responsibly with precaution.)

about

The 1st part composed was the chorus Chords lyrics and melody on a foggy sober St. Patricks day in Cahir Co.Tipperary.

The verse guitar riff then came from the melody of the chorus and set the slow wavy tempo of the track

The music gives a feeling as if your sailing on the sea with swells swaying you from left to right
As if you're on a boat at sea, while this is the most linear track of CW's catalogue,

The focus is more melody, layering and embelishements moreso than on rythmical changes which occur quite a bit in the weezle repertoire.

The vocal harmonies might sometimes give an Alice in chainsy colour while in the chorus they evoke a twisted Beechboys vibe.

The Keys of "Wunderkind" Axel Steinbiss smoothly caress this track as they bob and and weave above and below the ocean waves
It could be considered the 2nd psychadelic track of CW repertoire along with "Lysergik tea party"

lyrics

The Northern lights light up my sky tonight
We sail on seas of dreams
The marshmallow icebergs will melt away
For the midnight sun is here to stay
We can have a ball on board and throw the captain overboard
But he will never die for we call him captain Bligh
We'll never feel the waves of negativity
For the sea on which he sails sees our reality

(Chorus)
So try my eskimo pie, I think you'll like it when you're high
The blubber in the middle taste a bit like piddle
But don't knock it till you've tried it when you're
High as a kite in flight up high in the sky
Killer whales and Fairy tales, The Magic in the pie
Light the northern sky

When the wind stops blowin' in the gallows they'll be rowin'
Gettin' us to where we're goin.... Straight to heaven
We're gonna meet the man above and give him all our love
He's gonna tell us why we're here is to never feel the fear
Cause we can make a rainbow shine and have a glass o' magic wine
Oh life is a piece o' magic pie that's to die for!
We'll never feel the waves of negativity
For the sea on which he sails sees our reality

Chorus(Repeats)

Try my pie...
Try my eskimo pie.
try my eskimo pie, I think you'll like it when you're high
The blubber in the middle tastes a bit like piddle....
(Convertastion between Axel and Simon while learning the chords of the song)
